While we will continue to work with each team to develop the best training and competition schedule for them please find a general summary schedule below to see where we have been this year and where we will go!

In the fall, Venom hosted a two weekend evaluation process that provided the basis for our teams for the year.  Fall consisted of once a week practices on Sunday, a local play-day in October, and the Rumble in Richmond or Colonial Challenge in Williamsburg Tournaments.  During the fall we recommended that Venom players not involved in a fall sport participate in their local rec or fall ball league, which most did.

In the winter we plugged our Venom players into box lacrosse programs where they received box lacrosse training and game play.  The number of touches and skills learned during box lacrosse will provide them a competitive advantage when we get back outside in the spring and summer.

In the spring elementary and middle school teams will continue weekend training while high school players will not have training as to not interfere or pose risk of injury while they are playing with their HS teams. During the Spring we recommend that Venom youth players participate within their  local rec teams.  We will offer Middle School Programming for 2024s and 2025s.

Our summer schedule will include twice a week practices into June for youth players, and into July for HS players.  Each team will participate in 3 tournaments.
